How long is the Cooling Off Period?

Our Cooling Off period is 21 Days.

If You decide You no longer want this insurance policy, You are entitled to a refund of the total amount You paid provided Your request to cancel it occurs within twenty one (21) days of issue; and before Your Trip begins; and no claim has been made against the policy.

Please see “How to Cancel my Policy” for information about premium refunds if You cancel the policy outside the 21 day Cooling off Period.

Australian travellers

For policies purchased by Australian residents who are already overseas, there is a 48 hour waiting period for cover to commence and the standard Cooling Off Period may not apply.

You should select a One-way policy and enter Your final destination as Australia. 

New Zealand travellers

For policies purchased by New Zealand residents who are already overseas, there is a 48 hour waiting period for cover to commence and the standard Cooling Off Period may not apply.

You should select a One-way policy and enter Your final destination as New Zealand.
